We invited some of our friends over for barbeque. We have two friends whose wife’s have been gone out of country with their kids to spend time with their families. I also invited another couple.
There was a World Cup game in early afternoon. The guys watched the game, jumping up and down, then we just hanged out. Kids played. It was a relaxing afternoon.
The menu included:
- Grilled chicken thighs with soy sauce and sesame seeds
- Hamburgers
- Grilled vegetables (marinated in garlic and olive oil)
- Cauliflower salad with yogurt sauce
- Great northern bean salad
- Green salad with avocados
- Rice
- Chocolate cake
I set the table nicely with table settings that I have recently gotten from Crate and Barrel (I love that store…)
It turned out to be a great and relaxing day…
Then we went to see Toy Story 3 as a family. Such a great movie. Korman always has hard time with emotional scenes. He did not do well in this movie. Some parts were scary while the other parts were emotional. He is such an emotional little boy…
