It was much better compared to last year's first competition. She had fun and a lot less nervous. With the exception of one unfortunate incident at the vault, the whole thing was a success if you ask me.
I have a totally different attitude this year. I do not write the scores, bite my nails, and instead just try to enjoy it as much as I can. As long as she is having fun and making progress, I am happy as a clam. This sport teaches her the value of hard work and tenacity and I am grateful for that...
