Korman's Thanksgiving Feast...

Korman's kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving Feast last week. I have experience with this lunch event since Sude had it last year with the same teacher. I was one of the volunteers that helped with the preparations. There were 4 stations where kids made sweet potato casserole, fruit salad, cranberry salad, corn, and stuffing/pumpkin pie. School provided the turkey, mashed potato, and buns.

I was in charge of the sweet potato casserole station where kids mashed potatoes, added butter and brown sugar, and put marshmallows on top with incredible precision.

After all the work, some moms took the food home to baked them. Kids played outside while we cleaned the classroom and setup the tables with the place mats and decorations that the kids made. They wore the t-shirts that they decorated themselves. Then we all had lunch together. Sude also joined us for lunch...

It was a fun morning. I got to meet some of the other moms and got to spend some time with my favorite boy...
