The first week of staying home more is over. Some tidbits from it...
- It is going to take a while for everyone to get used to the new schedule. Kids were much happier some days and not so much the other days. I need to communicate better and listen more. I am excited though... I am learning so much more about them...
- I have to make sure I spend more time just playing. I am used to focusing on homework, piano practice, reading, and life lessons, etc. but not as much to just playing with the kids with no intention of teaching something specific.
- I drove around much more (much much more)
- Korman started swimming lessons once a week
- I have locked myself out of the house in the middle of the day when Cem was out of town.
- Korman is starting piano lessons next week
- I went to yoga classes 3 times
- I worked out with a trainer once
- I walked/ran 3 times
- I went to have coffee with my mom
- Did I mention that I locked myself out. My neighbors helped out. They were so nice. I made them a cranberry bread the next day.
- I watched Sude practice gymnastics more than 30 minutes
- I met the pool guy to discuss plans for a pool
- I packed lunch every day for the kids
It was a great, happy week... Hope to have more of these...
