We have decided to make day 3 an art day. We have started the day by walking to the National Gallery of Art. It was a rainy morning. We had an umbrella but it was not a lot of use. We ran to the East building first.
When we got in, kids were soaked and had to change in the museum bathroom. We ended up visiting the museum with clothes hanging all around the stroller. I am sure it was not very appropriate but you have to improvise with the kids.
From there we went to the Americal History Museum. There are lots of really cool memorabilia. Sude and I spent some time with the first lady's inaguration balls. The most recent of them all was Michelle Obama's white gown...
