CA roadtrip - Day 7

In the morning we had planned to go up the mountain by a gondola but then we changed our mind and headed to Emerald Bay. This is a beautiful part of Lake Tahoe. It makes you appreciate mother nature over and over again.

We headed to a beach called DL bliss. I am not sure where the name comes from. We spent most of the day at beach playing.

Then we went for a hike on Rubicon trail that goes around a part of the lake. It was lots of fun. Kids did great... Sude was the leader as usual...

On our way to Lee vining, we stopped by a cute resort that also had a restaurant. We had late lunch and got some rest.

Our driver stayed on course to make it to Lee Vining at a decent time...

When you drive in this part of the country, you realize how big it is and how small you are...

We made it to our hotel which was next to Mono Lake right before sunset. We ate a barbecue dinner and put kids to bed. Then we enjoyed one of the bottles that we got from Napa Valley watching millions of stars in the sky.
