We spent the morning in the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is one of the best in the nation. We got to see penguins, sharks, and play with star fishes.
On our drive to Santa Cruz, we stopped to get some fruits.
It is amazing how much fresh fruits and vegetables you can get in California. Much cheaper too. It is no secret that this state feeds a lot of parts of the United States.
We got strawberries, peaches, grapes, peanuts, plums, kiwis, and fresh figs.
We sat by the beach and enjoyed the fresh fruits, the wind , and the smell of the ocean.
On our way to San Francisco, we stopped by a light house. You can see that it was a "little" chilly...
We checked into our very nice hotel, "the best hotel ever" according to the kids and headed to another sushi restaurant. This one was much much better than the one in Carmel.
