One of the things the kids got to experience was a "Henna Party" before a wedding. This party is only for females, little kids being an exception. It is a traditional celebration of the wedding by females (like a bridal shower but a lot more fun) since in the old days the weddings were not for both males and females.
We got all dressed up and picked up one of the cousins on the way.
Sude got to practice her belly dancing skills. This summer she has a lot more interest and getting better at it. They got to dance with the bride and watch the ceremonies.
Korman mostly ran around and enjoyed the food.
The bride-to-be is waiting for the henna...
While Sude finished it with henna and bunch of goodies... It was a true girl party...
