We got to go to birthday party of one of Korman and Sude's cousins. By this time Korman started to have pretty long hair and get questions about his gender. He picked up pretty quickly to say "I am a boy" in Turkish. He did not mind it at all though to my surprise. Longer style hair cuts are not very common in Turkey especially in summer months.
I love this picture of Sude's. She is just so much herself here not trying to make some funky face that is out of a Disney show.
Here is the smaller birthday crowd...
And here is the bigger one...
In the month of June in our city there was a music/dance festival going on. One of the shows was by the city's folk dance group. It was a show of the collection of all different Turkish folk dances. We had great seats and kids got to see and enjoy dances from different parts of the country.
