We took the next day easy and pretty much spent it at our hotel at Ayvalik. The water was pretty and cool. My cousin and his family drove down from Bursa to spend the weekend with us. Kids got to play at the beach and we had deep and interesting conversations about life, being parents, and happiness.
Before dinner time we headed to a small island off of Ayvalik called Cunda. It has been linked to main land by a road so it is not really an island anymore. It had lots of great restaurants that served Mediterranean type cuisine which consists of fish and tapas type appetizers. The restaurant that we wanted to go was fully booked but it was so early we were able to convince the owner to let us eat before the dinner crowd arrived. With kids we could not have dinner after 9:00 pm like many people around here do. As you can see there was really no one else other than us in the restaurant when we sat.
An hour and a half later the situation was very different. But by then we were full and headed for ice cream.
Then we started walk around and spend some money... ;-) We got some gifts for the family and of course we had to get some things for ourselves too. After all this was not a vacation only for kids... I ended up buying few rings... I have a thing for rings. And maybe rings have a thing for me...
